Crock Pot Salsa Chicken

Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken
Ingredients
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 12-16 oz jar of your favorite salsa
Instructions
  1. Plug in your slow cooker and add the salsa and the chicken. Cook on low for 6-9 hours. I'm using a 2 quart slow cooker. (You can cut your chicken into smaller pieces if you need it to cook faster.)
  2. Thirty minutes before you are ready to eat, shred the chicken with two forks. This allows the meat to absorb more flavor from the salsa. The chicken will literally fall apart because it's so tender - yum!
  3. Serve the chicken in your favorite Mexican entree - we did burritos this time and they were amazing! Give this one a try - it's delicious!
